Proposed Phylum Names
|
Disclaimer:
If someone says that this name for a phylum does not agree with the rules, one
would have to counterargue that it may be seen as an "arbitrary name" in the sence of Rules 10a and 12c of the
Bacteriological Code ( = Internat. Code of Nomenclature of Prokaryotes). Also, besides the fact that Higher
Taxa have to bear Latin (Neo-Latin) names, the Code does so far not contain rules for the formation of
names for phyla .
